Chromium family welcomes new addition, also for Linux

After months of speculation, Microsoft announced on their Ignite conference that the Edge browser will support Linux next to macOS, iOS, Android and of course Windows.

Microsoft’s attitude towards Linux has made a 180 degrees turn and the company already showed steps that they are really committed towards this attitude by opening up some of their codes for sharing and by joining the Open Invention Network, a defensive patent pool and community of patent non-aggression which enables freedom of action in Linux, a network EndeavourOS also is a member of.

With Edge coming available for Linux, it can be seen as another step to gain trust in the Linux community.
