Firefox 72 with picture-in-picture for Linux

When Firefox 71 was released, they introduced picture-in-picture mode, a feature that already was available in browsers such as Vivaldi and Opera. Unfortunately, this option was only available for Windows.

Mozilla kicks off 2020 with the release of Firefox 72, now supporting picture-in-picture mode for Linux, which allows playing a video above other tabs.

Other features will be default fingerprinting script blocking, better handling of notification request prompts, CSS Shadow Parts and CSS Motion Path support.

This release is also the first release of their new four weeks scheduled release cycle, Mozilla introduced for Firefox for this year.

Firefox 72 is available in the Arch repo
